Hot Smoked ran a blinder at Exeter on the 18th March just going down a nose on the line after leading from start to finish in the novice handicap hurdle over two miles. She jumped the last hurdle with a clear three length lead only to wander around on the run in. The eventual winner came wide and beat her in a head bob on the line. Smokey had never found herself in front alone before and I am sure that with the company she would have run straight to the line. She continues to progress with every run and we are finding out more about her each time. A really pleasing effort. This splendid photograph is courtesy of Gavin James of GJ Multimedia.
